Replacement Inogen One G4 concentrator columns.
Inogen One G4 concentrator columns should be replaced when maintenance is required and should not be taken as a standard practice.
The steps to replace the columns are as follows:
- Turn off the Inogen One® G4 concentrator by pressing the on/off button on the device.
- If necessary, remove the Inogen One® G4 concentrator from the carrying bag.
- Remove the battery from the Inogen One® G4 concentrator.
- Turn the Inogen One® G4 concentrator on its side so that you can see the underside. You can see the metal column assembly on the side of the device.
- Pull the lock button out.
- Holding the button open, pull the column handle and pull the column out of the device.
- Completely remove the columns from the Inogen One® G4. Both are removed in one piece.
- Remove the guards from the new column. Make sure that there is no dust or debris where they were located.
- Insert the column into the Inogen One® G4 concentrator. The edges of the columns should not be exposed; insert the column into the Inogen One G4 as soon as the protectors are removed.
- Push the column into the device so that it is fully seated in the Inogen One® G4 concentrator. The spring-loaded latch button should fully return to the closed position.
- Connect the AC power supply cord to the Inogen One® G4 and plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Do not turn on the Inogen One® G4 concentrator.
- Press and hold the plus and minus buttons for 5 seconds. The display will show the message "reset sieves". Release the button when this message has already been displayed on the screen.
- Press the alert button once ; the message "sieves reset successful" will appear on the display.
- Press the power button to turn the Inogen One® G4 on and use it as normal.
