Replacement Columns for the Inogen One G3HF Concentrator.

The change of the columns for the Inogen One G3HF is indicated when the red light illuminates, the equipment emits two beeps, and the message "Next O2 Service" appears on the screen.

How do I identify the appropriate columns for my equipment?

The filters are located on the front top of the equipment. When removing the battery from the bottom of the equipment, a blue dot is visible on each column.

However, for any doubts related to maintenance, inspections, and repairs of the Inogen One G3HF oxygen concentrator, you can contact Technical Service at phone number 916 263 988.

(1 package includes 2 units).

Instructions for changing the Columns of the Inogen One G3HF, which you will also find on page 119 of chapter 6 of the instruction manual:

Extraction of the Columns:

  1. Turn off the concentrator by pressing the power button.
  2. If the concentrator is inside the carrying bag, remove it for manipulation.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Turn the concentrator upside down, with the screen panel facing down and the back facing up.
  5. Remove the column by pressing the latch button.
  6. While keeping the latch button open, slide the column (metal tube) outward while holding the exposed aluminum surface with the other hand.
  7. Completely remove the column (metal tube).
  8. Repeat steps 6 to remove the other column (metal tube).

Column Installation:

  1. Remove the dust caps from the new column (metal tube).
  2. Ensure there is no dust or debris where the dust caps were. Insert the column (metal tube) into the concentrator.
  3. Do not leave the column exposed to air; insert it as soon as you remove the dust caps. Insert the column (metal tube) by pushing it into the device so that it is fully seated in the concentrator.
  4. The spring-loaded latch button should return completely to the closed position.
  5. Repeat steps 10 to 12 to install the other column (metal tube). Connect the AC power cable to the concentrator and plug the other end into a power outlet.
  6. Do not operate the concentrator at this time.
  7. Press and hold the light button for 10 seconds and wait for the "resetting sieves" message to appear on the screen.
  8. Release the button when this message is displayed on the screen. Press the bell button once; the "sieves reset successful" message will appear on the screen. Press the power button to turn on the system to start the equipment. You can now use it as usual.

*The instructions for changing the columns should only be used when necessary for maintenance tasks and should not be performed routinely, but only when the equipment requires it.
