Reusable filter for CPAP DreamStation

If you have allergies during spring and fall, you can use the Pollen Filter for the DreamStation CPAP, which removes normal household dust and pollen.

For installation, follow these steps:

1. Lift the filter access cover and leave it up. If it is a replacement, pull on the assembly where the used filter is located.
2. If applicable, place a reusable blue pollen filter over a new disposable light blue ultra-fine filter and snap them together until you hear a click.
3. Reinsert the new assembly into the side of the device.

The Pollen Filter for DreamStation CPAP is reusable. It should be replaced every year and can be washed.

Periodically inspect the intake filters as needed to ensure they are clean and in good condition:

• If the device is running, stop the airflow. Disconnect the device from the power source.
• Remove the filters from the housing by gently squeezing them at their central part and detaching them from the device.
• Inspect the filters to ensure they are clean and in good condition.
• Wash the gray foam filter with hot water and a mild detergent. Rinse it well to remove any detergent residue. Let the filter air dry completely before reinstalling it. If the foam filter is torn, replace it. Use only replacement filters supplied by Philips Respironics.
• If the white ultra-fine filter is dirty or torn, replace it.
• Reinstall the filters, placing the white ultra-fine filter first, if applicable.

The use of the Pollen Filter for DreamStation CPAP comes with the equipment and must be installed whenever it is operating.

CAUTION: A dirty intake filter can cause high operating temperatures that can affect device performance
